#1 - Favorite Resort for Spas Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa Oahu Hawaii
Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa

Comments: Wow, the spa with a spectacular view! This amazing spa is branded as the Moana Lani Spa, a heavenly spa by Westin and I can confirm that it is heavenly indeed! The spa is very bright, airy and inviting. While sitting in the relaxation room or the whirlpool, you are overlooking Waikiki Beach ... hard to find a better view than that. The women's lounge area is spacious, clean and appointed with all the amenities one would need. I indulged in the Lomi Lomi massage (which I always seem to do when in Hawaii) and the treatment was excellent. The treatment rooms are very calming with a nice Hawaiian touch to them. The spa offers a wide array of treatments and massages, all with the quality you would expect to find at this celebrated property. Treat yourself to the luxurious Moana Lani Spa on your visit to the Moana Surfrider; pure calm and relaxation on world famous Waikiki Beach.

#2 - Favorite Resort for Spas Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa Bora Bora Tahiti
Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa

Comments: The Manea Spa at the Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort is located in its own private section of the resort and is set on stilts above a small, peaceful lake. You get a feeling of calm and tranquility as you prepare for your treatment. The decor is traditional Tahitian with exotic woods, bamboo and lava rock. There is an excellent choice of services, most with a Tahitian flare. The treatments are awesome and the ambiance of the spa is serene and graceful. The prices are expensive (like many things in Bora Bora), but the wonderful service makes your stay in paradise that much more relaxing. The Manea Spa is a great way to get relaxed and in touch with the spirit of the Tahitian Islands.

#3 - Favorite Resort for Spas Four Seasons Resort Hualalai Big Island Hawaii
Four Seasons Resort Hualalai

Comments: The Hualalai Spa provides awesome services in a spectacular, tropical Hawaiian setting. The spa combines lush gardens with traditional Hawaiian interiors that provide a magnificent backdrop for serenity and luxury. I enjoyed the classic Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage and it was wonderful. The Hualalai Spa is like everything else at Four Seasons Hualalai ... world class! The spa has some unique features such as helping you choose among local, natural ingredients to create a one of a kind treatment. Your session ends in the gardens with a "treat tray" which includes tea, cookies and local fruits. This is a lovely touch. If the spa is an important feature of your vacation, the Four Seasons Hualalai is a great resort option.

#4 - Favorite Resort for Spas The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii Big Island Hawaii
The Spa without Walls at The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii

Comments: The spa at the Fairmont Orchid is truly a tropical paradise. Named "The Spa Without Walls", after visiting you will see the name fits this unique spa experience. The garden area of this spa is really something special; what you imagine tropical Hawaii would look like. The women's lounge and locker have everything you might need, but it's when you step outside that your adventure into relaxation really begins. The spa offers a wide variety of treatments (in addition to my massage, I experienced the signature Big Island Kona Coffee/Ka'u Orange/Vanilla exfoliation which left my skin ever so soft and with the fragrance of Hawaii) and standard treatment rooms, but I strongly suggest you opt for one of the outdoor cabanas for your massage. I decided to take my massage in one of the oceanfront cabanas and was I happy I did! Somehow I thought the cabana might not be as relaxing or that I would be disturbed by outside noise, but this was not the case at all! I enjoyed my treatment while listening to the ocean lapping on the shore of the beautiful Kohala Coast. Whatever treatment experience you choose, you will feel the ultimate sense of relaxation at The Spa Without Walls!

#5 - Favorite Resort for Spas The Kahala Hotel & Resort Oahu Hawaii
The Kahala Spa Suites

Comments: The Kahala Spa Suites is my all time favorite Spa experiences! You enjoy your treatment in your own personal suite that is spacious (550 sq. ft!) and magnificently appointed in traditional Hawaiian style with wood flooring, plantation shutter doors and island-style ceiling fans. The suites are so beautiful and give you a warm and inviting feeling ... in traditional Hawaiian style. The Spa offers many treatment options; I chose the Lomi Lomi signature massage and it was perfect in every way. The Spa at Kahala does not have a relaxation room or common shower facility, but you can enjoy your suite as your own private relaxation room for just a little bit extra. I usually love the relaxation room after my spa treatment, but the Kahala Spa Suites are so awesome that I don't even miss it! The suites are just so relaxing and beautiful that when I am finished with my treatment, I am in a state of ancient Hawaiian bliss!!! When you go to the Kahala Resort, DO NOT MISS a relaxing treatment at the Spa Suites. It will be one of the highlights of your stay!

#6 - Favorite Resort for Spas The Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows Big Island Hawaii
>The Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows

Comments: My favorite feature of the Mauna Lani Spa is how, from the moment I walk into this spa, a feeling of Hawaiian culture and tradition is blended effortlessly with a sense of absolute serenity. The spa is located in a separate building away from the hotel and the resort provides a convenient shuttle to whisk you to your relaxing spa treatment. Once inside the spa, I felt as if I had arrived at a calm Hawaiian village. The woman's lounge area is spacious and well appointed. There are outdoor showers crafted from lava rock that make for a unique experience. All services begin with a foot bath in the relaxation area which really gets your treatment off to a delightful start! I went with my favorite Lomi Lomi and was not disappointed. The spa at Mauna Lani truly works to incorporate the Hawaiian culture and spiritually into the entire spa experience. Make sure you visit Mauna Lani spa to get in touch with the spirit of ancient Hawaii.
