#1 - Favorite Resort for Dining Four Seasons Resort Hualalai Big Island Hawaii
Pahu i'a Restaurant

Comments: Hualalai has three excellent restaurants to choose from: Pahu i'a, Beach Tree and The Hualalai Grille. Each offers its own ambiance while still maintaining an inviting Hawaiian feel and all the luxury of the Four Seasons.

Located just steps from the Pacific Ocean, Pahu i'a is Hualalai's fine dining restaurant and is an incredible experience. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is unbeatable and the service is exceptional. Fresh, local vegetables and seafood are incorporated into their fantastic menu to help you experience all the tastes of the Big Island. Outstanding food, incredible presentation and unsurpassed views make Pahu i'a a restaurant not be missed.

Beach Tree is a great restaurant that hits on their goal of "barefoot elegance". Providing oceanfront al fresco dining at its best, this restaurant is open air and has a Hawaiian Beach House feel. The food is excellent with many casual and light items if you are looking for a quiet, relaxed dinner. When we were looking for low-keyed dinner after watching a breathtaking sunset, the Beach Tree was the perfect choice. Lunch is also a great option and you cannot beat the views.

The Hualalai Grille is a wonderful restaurant that is beautifully decorated with ancient Hawaiian charm. We ate both lunch and dinner here and the food was out of this world. The restaurant sits above the 18th green of the Hualalai Golf Course (more on that to follow!) and offers great views of the 18th hole. We highly recommend this restaurant. If you are looking for a little more casual atmosphere than Pahu i'a, but want all the great tastes and Four Seasons service, The Hualalai Grille is a great option.

#2 - Favorite Resort for Dining Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman Grand Cayman Caribbean

Comments: We found the dining to be exceptional at the Ritz Grand Cayman. There is a wide variety of restaurants to choose and all were excellent. We ate lunch at Bar Jack, the casual restaurant by the pool, and the food was good and the cocktails were refreshing and relaxing! We also had sushi at the Silver Palm Sushi lounge and the sushi was very fresh and the ambiance was very relaxing. To treat ourselves we ate at Blue by Eric Ripert and found this to be one of the finest dining experiences we have ever had. The service was exquisite. The food was unbelievable. We do not consider ourselves 'foodies", but this meal was really remarkable in every way. If you get chance to eat at Blue, do it. The experience is first class all the way and you will not be disappointed.

The Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman is located on Seven Mile Beach which boasts many impressive dining options. If you like to get out and try different restaurants, Grand Cayman will give you plenty of great options. We found ourselves with more options at the Ritz than we could use during our stay, so spent most of our time at the beautiful Ritz!

#3 - Favorite Resort for Dining Halekulani Oahu Hawaii
Orchids restaurant at Halekulani

Comments: Halekulani offers three distinct restaurants, each with their own style and ambiance. Each restaurant is located oceanfront, so you will have amazing views regardless of which dining option you choose.

Celebrating a one of a kind blend of French and Hawaiian cuisine, La Mer embodies the elegance and style that is Halekulani. This award winning restaurant is an unsurpassed, fine dining experience with all the flavors, views and service that make Halekulani a unique Hawaiian luxury experience. Remember to dress for this elegant dining experience, as long-sleeved shirts or jackets are required for gentleman.

Orchids provides a relaxed, yet elegant dining experience and is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. We especially enjoyed the seafood and local fish that was prepared with a uniquely Hawaiian flair. The ocean views make this a favorite setting to absorb all the beauty of Hawaii while enjoying a combination of unmatched flavors and service that only Halekulani can provide. Orchids is a great option if you are looking for a more casual dining environment but still want all the great tastes of Hawaii.

House Without a Key is an open air restaurant providing indoor/outdoor dining that incorporates beautiful views, great service and a diverse menu with a focus on local flavors. We choose a light snack and a signature mai tai at noon and soaked up all the laid-back tropical vibes. Don't forget House Without a Key when considering your dining options!

#4 - Favorite Dining for Dining The Kahala Hotel & Resort Oahu Hawaii
Hoku's at the Kahala

Comments: The dining at the Kahala was exceptional and worthy of a 5 star luxury resort. The Kahala boasts five restaurants: Hoku's, Tokyo-Tokyo, Plumeria Beach House, Seaside Grille and the Veranda. We enjoyed a drink at Veranda and the atmosphere, drinks and service were all excellent. Seaside Grille is a great open air, casual place to get some lunch or a tropical cocktail. Hoku's, Toyko-Toyko and Plumeria Beach House all have their own vibe, but the constant among them all is great food. Each restaurant gives you a unique dining option; whether it's Sushi from Toyko-Toyko or Contemporary Island Cuisine at Hoku's or more traditional favorites at Plumeria Beach House. Whatever you look for in a dining experience, the Kahala gives you plenty of great options.

The Kahala is only a ten minute drive from world famous Waikiki and all the amazing restaurants it has to offer. Looking for more upscale dining, be sure to give Alan Wong's or Roy's Waikiki a try. Are casual beachfront places more your speed? Then Duke's or Hula Grill will fit the bill. How about must see local establishments that give you the true flavor of Hawaii? Try Leonard's Bakery, Ono Hawaiian Foods or even of the famous lunch trucks you will find throughout the city. If you like to get out and try other places to eat, you will love all the options that Honolulu and Waikiki offer when you choose to stay at the Kahala Resort.

#5 - Favorite Resort for Dining Cap Juluca Anguilla Caribbean
Pimms Restaurant at Cap Juluca

Comments: Cap Juluca is just magical in so many ways, and the dining options only add to the mystique. The restaurants at Cap Juluca are world class and are so special that they truly did enhance our stay. We ate at both Pimms and Spice and thoroughly enjoyed the experiences. Both restaurants are oceanfront and set overlooking Maundays Bay so that as you dine, you seem to be floating on the water. There are few times that we have truly memorable dining experiences, but Pimms and Spice both exceeded our expectations. Do not miss the chance to experience these amazing restaurants during your stay at magical Cap Juluca.

Also be sure to try Blue, available for casual, beachfront dining located in the center of the resort directly on the beach. Blue offers breakfast and lunch service as well as a tantalizing assortment of tropical drinks. The food was good and the service excellent. And you cannot beat enjoying a meal or a tropical cocktail while gazing at the mesmerizing waters of Maundays Bay!

Another reason Anguilla is one of our favorite islands is that there are so many dining options outside the resort. We highly recommend Pimms and Spice and suggest you visit these restaurants at least once during your stay. But if you like to get out and enjoy the local establishments, you will have great options on Anguilla. Whether it's fine dining at Straw Hat, casual dining at Sandy Ground or super casual island-cool dining at Bankies, you will have great dining experiences on Anguilla.

#6 - Favorite Resort for Dining The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii Big Island Hawaii
Brown's Beach House at The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii

Comments: At the Fairmont Orchid, you will be treated to a wide variety of dining options. Whether you are looking for a casual pool front deli or fine dining overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Fairmont Orchid has you dining needs covered!

Fine Dining
Brown's Beach House is our favorite dining experience at the Fairmont Orchid. Located oceanfront, this magnificent open air restaurant has amazing service and exceptional fare featuring seafood options from the local waters. We loved the fresh fish but there are many non seafood options available as well. Enjoy the live entertainment as you gaze at the ocean only steps away, all under the bright stars of the Big Island night. Be sure to experience Brown's Beach House during your stay at the enchanting Fairmont Orchid.

Norio's Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar - located alongside a serene koi pond, Norio's offers incredible sushi and Japanese cuisine. The perfect place if you are looking for something different during your stay. We found the sushi very fresh and exceptional, but don't think of this as just sushi. Norio's has a menu that features meats and fish from the grill and pan, all prepared with a unique blend of Far East tastes and Hawaiian style. A fun, unique experience along with exceptional tastes makes Norio's a must try at the Fairmont.

Casual Dining
Looking for more casual dining options? The Fairmont Orchid offers guests several options. Brown's Deli is a terrific option that allows you a quick breakfast and Kona coffee in the morning or a sandwich on the go in the afternoon.
Orchid Court offers great breakfasts served in a serene, open air environment.
Hale Kai is our favorite lunch hangout. This sand floored restaurant is located just steps from the shoreline. The food was tasty and the views are to die for. Remember to come back at sunset for a tropical drink and all the astounding views of the Pacific.
